Privacy Policy
The short version: your images never leave your device. Last updated September 15, 2026.
Your images
Every tool on Negato — image inversion, flipping and color editing — runs entirely inside your web browser using HTML5 Canvas. When you drop, browse or paste an image, it is processed locally on your device. It is never uploaded, transmitted, stored or seen by us. You can verify this yourself: open your browser's developer tools, watch the Network tab, and you will not see a single upload request.
What we collect
We do not require accounts and we do not ask for personal information. To understand how the site is used we run Google Analytics 4, which collects standard usage data such as pages visited, browser and device type, and approximate region. No advertising cookies are used, and nothing about the contents of your images is ever recorded — the analytics layer never sees them.
Server logs
Like virtually every website, our hosting provider keeps standard technical logs (such as IP address, browser type and requested URL) for security and abuse prevention. These logs concern page requests, never your images, and they are retained only for a short period by the host.
Downloads
When you press a download button, the processed file is generated in your browser and saved directly by your device. That file does not pass through our servers either.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated date above will change with it. Questions? Contact hello@negato.ai.
